It’s so easy to say: “Don’t regret the things you’ve done.” “Make sure you are satisfied with the life you lead.” “Be good to yourself and to others.” Do you also receive this or other heartfelt advice from your environment and do you sometimes think ‘Yes, but how!?’
Is everything not so clear at the moment and are you doing your daily work and things, but your goal is not completely clear? Or do you ask yourself how do I deal with disappointment when things don’t turn out as you had planned? And what’s in the way? Do you also hope that your armored, professional personality will not hurt you at work and perhaps also in your private life? And does it happen to you that where your heart lies, privately or at work, your heart is touched or even broken?
At that moment you no longer know how to get from here to there without crossing those thresholds that are unknown and difficult or even frightening? What does that do to you? Do you ask for help or reconsider? Do you recognize this? I will help you find what drives you and what challenges you face, whether it is business or private.
After years of working in managerial positions in the retail industry, I decided to take the route of advice and coaching. In addition to a thorough coaching training, I bring my business experience and personal development into coaching. This allows me to look openly at everyone’s experience and issues. I inspire and invite you to look at yourself and discover how your path may have deviated without you realizing it and how you can make your path coincide more with the path you would really like to take.
In the conversations with you, I bring my openness, empathy, curiosity and calmness to the questions I ask you. My coaching method is with the necessary questions and depth and also with a business and practical view and a healthy dose of intuition and humor. This translates into the question: “How?”. There is a method, reason or solution to continue or shift your desired path.
Does this appeal to you? Please contact us or let us schedule an introduction.

I had 4 sessions in which I had many questions about myself and my insecurities. We did exercises with this that made it enlightening and 'real'. It was very practical and certainly room for feeling. I got a lot out of it.

My personal mission is to facilitate you in your own process and in an unbiased way. I will do that by giving back what I see and hear and by going into the core of the issue with curiosity and openness. I will motivate and confront you if needed and letting you experience and feel it yourself. Equality and unbiasedness are important themes for me. This is reflected in my way of working. Ultimately, we all just want to be happy.
I worked in Africa for several years, which was a colorful and unique experience for me. It has broadened my view, increased my enthusiasm to work for and with entrepreneurs and I love moving in an intercultural environment. Mindfulness and meditation play an important part in my life. It has taught me to let go of control, to stop resisting life as it is and become more aware of (automatic) patterns and see that we have the (choice) freedom to participate or not.

Marc really helped me with my new career choice. He listens carefully and asks sharp questions that really got me moving. But the exercises during the sessions were also transparent. I like that he uses both spiritual knowledge and experience and can put it (humorously) in perspective. He is genuine and committed and I would recommend him to people with personal and professional questions.
Different approaches to topics that lead to different insights. Marc also knows how to ask the right questions, keeps asking questions, but also knows how to park and direct things. I always left with a pleasant feeling and look back on this process with satisfaction, which brought me closer to my goal.

‘I only vibrate at a few tones’, a quote from the passionate Dutch scientist Robert Dijkgraaf. This quote strongly resonates with me as it relates to the ultimate self-knowledge: understanding what you need and doing what makes you happy. At the same time, it touches upon a complex search for your individuality in a world that offers so many opportunities, opinions and stimuli.
For me, Personal Leadership is about authenticity, assurance and self-confidence, whilst being aware of what makes you thrive and keeps you inspired. Happiness, work-life balance, dealing with loss, self-confidence, feeling rewarded, personal growth: it requires authentic living and personal leadership. Sometimes it also requires courage and freedom to walk your own path, especially when it goes against the flow. I strongly believe one doesn’t always need to have a clear vision of where to go next – it’s the ability to listen to your inner wisdom and intrinsic longings that will provide guidance on your path in achieving your goals.
As a coach I work at the interface where inner knowledge and action meet to achieve mental, social, emotional and spiritual well-being. I have a broad international experience, having lived and worked alternately in the NL and abroad (UK, Switzerland, NY and Paris). My coaching style is openminded, supportive and confronting when needed, but always with warm curiosity and with respect. I am looking forward to walking with you on your journey.

What I really liked about Marielle is her open and personal attitude during conversations. Of course she is professional in her role as a coach, but I never had the feeling that I was talking to an 'aid worker' but just a person and that made it easy for me to be open. I also never felt that I had to answer socially desirable, but that I could just say what I thought / felt without having to be afraid of being convicted. Furthermore, Marielle is a good listener and she often comes back to things that were discussed during previous conversations, which makes her really pay attention to the situation. What she is also good at is to sense when things get stuck. She keeps asking, but the moment I really didn't know what to answer, she was able to switch over and park the situation for a while. I also really liked that because you don't feel like being pushed into a corner and only have to answer something.
I experienced the coaching conversations with Marielle as very positive. She has given me many new insights, both personally and professionally. I admire her ability to be without an organ and at the same time hold up a mirror to me. It gave me the space to be fully myself and from there to work confidently on the goals set.
I really benefited from my coaching process. I came in with a career question that I think is very typical for the 20s and 30s of today (what do I want, I am on the right path, how do I find out what I want and can do). I left with a lot of insights, especially in the things that hinder me in my work (but also private) to be happy and satisfied. I also found the peace to accept that I am who I am, including a number of qualities that I often thought 'why do I have that anyway'. I found out that the uncertainties and doubts I have are separate from my career path, but are in my person / character. With that, the career question has completely disappeared and I started working on (and still working on) these uncertainties. I also try to adjust my current work and any future jobs in such a way that I find the skills that I like.
